Aftermarket-engineered for an OE like performance, EZ Air Ride's shock absorbers provide high-quality performance at an affordable price. While providing superior response and consistent control, EZ Air Ride shocks feature a super-finished chromed piston rod for corrosion resistance and a leak-proof piston seal which extends product life. Our shock relocators have been designed to work with almost all of our air ride kits, giving the user the ability to safely and easily relocate their shocks and give their vehicle that perfect stance.

Includes:

  • Heavy duty shock tower brackets
  • EZ shock absorbers W/ Dust Covers
  • Lower A Arm shock studs
  • All hardware

What makes our kit superior to any other kit is the open side on our shock tower. This gives users more adjustability when installing their shocks. Our EZ Shock absorber has a lower eyelet that bolts on to our lower A Arm shock stud (like a ring that slides onto a finger). As well as the top shock stud that simply bolts to our shock tower. Not to mention, we have one of the only shocks that will closely match our EZ AIRRIDE 2500# air bag's near 8" of stroke.

Note: Although our EZ Air Ride bag brackets are 100% bolt on, these universal upper shock towers MUST be welded on.

Below is an example of how the brackets could be installed on a 65-70 Impala or similar vehicle.

Below is a shot of how one customer installed the relocators on his '65 Cadillac DeVille

Shock absorbers are what actually control the movement of the vehicle's suspension under rough driving conditions. Properly set-up shocks allow for precise and predictable control over your vehicle; whether heavy accelerating, braking, or cornering. In air suspension systems, shocks can also be important for other reasons. Air is compressible, and air-springs are essentially flexible pressure vessels, the spring rates vary. This variance is dependent on the height of the spring and the pressure inside. In most cases, this variability, along with the inability of the air-spring to damp shock, causes the vehicle to bounce continuously after hitting an irregularity in the road. Bouncing could unload the tires and make handling difficult. Shocks damp potential bouncing and allow the suspension to normalize very quickly keeping the contact patch of the tire pressed firmly against the road.
